Delivery Options

At Office Mac Limited, we place great importance on the fast and reliable delivery of our customers’ orders. However, please note that delivery times are estimates only, and Office Mac Limited shall not be liable for any delays.

If the customer fails or refuses to take delivery of the goods, then in addition to all other rights and remedies of Office Mac Limited, the customer shall be liable for all loss and damage (including consequential loss and damage) suffered or incurred by Office Mac Limited as a result thereof. Office Mac Limited may, at its discretion, charge a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price.

The goods shall be at the customer’s risk at the point of delivery. The customer, upon taking delivery of the goods, must immediately examine the goods and give written notice to Office Mac Limited of any defect within three (3) days of such date. Failing to do so will mean that the goods shall be deemed delivered in good order and condition and accepted by the customer.

Payment

The price shall be paid by the customer in full, without any deduction in respect of any claimed set-off or counterclaim (including any such set-off or counterclaim due to a delay by Office Mac Limited in delivering any part of the goods) on or before the payment date.

Unless otherwise stated, all charges/prices for products shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings.

You will be responsible for the payment of all taxes associated with your purchase of a product, including its delivery and utilization. The amount payable for a product shall include the cost of delivery to you.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. Office Mac Limited reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service (or any part of the content) at any time without notice.

We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

Changes To This Agreement

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by posting the updated terms on our site. Your continued use of the site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

Return Policy

Office Mac Limited will gladly refund or credit goods returned within a reasonable time (generally 3 days) provided the goods are in their original condition, original packaging, current version, and not a special order, hardware, peripheral, or clearance item.

If this is not the case, we will make our best effort to arrange an exchange with the manufacturer or accept the goods back for resale.

The return period for a defective product due to manufacturing defaults is strictly 24 hours from the date of sale. Clients outside Nairobi should contact Office Mac Limited to facilitate the return. No returns will be accepted for products sold or delivered as sealed; the manufacturer’s warranty will apply.

A credit note for the full purchase price may be issued if the return occurs within 48 hours, provided the goods are in their original packaging, including all manuals & software, and in a resalable condition.

Credit notes may be issued for goods returned after 48 hours from the date of purchase but within 5 (five) days. All returned goods must be correctly packaged in their original packaging with all outer boxes and inner packaging intact. Items that are not correctly packaged will incur a minimum 15% handling charge.

Original invoices must be presented with all returns. No credit will be issued if the return is more than 3 days after the purchase.

Warranty Information

Products sold by Office Mac Limited are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty that accompanies the product unless otherwise stated.

Office Mac Limited makes no additional or independent warranty and does not warrant the performance, compatibility, integrity, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose of any product. The warranty provided is strictly passed through from the manufacturer or software publisher to the customer.

We do not warrant the suitability of goods for your system. Please check product suitability with your system and/or the manufacturer before purchasing.

Products have a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified. The warranty will be void if the serial number or label is missing, or if items have been tampered with.

Please note: Due to restrictions from manufacturers, hardware that is defective on arrival can generally be exchanged if we are notified within 7 days of the invoice. Otherwise, the manufacturer’s warranty process must be followed.

Manufacturer Warranty

For products covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, Office Mac Limited will not be liable in the event the manufacturer does not cover the defect. For items with manufacturer warranties, customers will be required to take them to the warranty center in Nairobi CBD in person for faster service. Please ensure you bring a copy of your receipt/order.

All UPSs are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, and Office Mac Limited will only guarantee the unit for the first 7 days.

Dealership Warranty

Units with a dealership warranty do not have a valid East African manufacturer warranty, as they are intended for sale in other regions.

Customer Acknowledgement

The customer acknowledges agreement with these Terms and Conditions of Sale by placing an order to purchase products from Office Mac Limited.

All goods are supplied on these terms and conditions only. No person employed by, or acting as an agent for, Office Mac Limited has any authority to supply goods on any other terms and conditions or to vary these terms in any way.

Previous dealings shall not vary or negate these terms and conditions in any respect.

VAT (Value Added Tax)

Our VAT, according to Kenyan Tax Regulations, is charged at the rate of 16%.
